The hammer case is the tough outer shell that holds and protects the impact mechanism—taking the knocks, containing the grease, and keeping everything aligned so the hammer can strike properly. If the case is cracked, worn, or leaking, you’ll often notice grease loss, contamination, noisy operation or reduced impact performance. The AirCraft AT0004-SK02 hammer case complete kit replaces the hammer case components (reference 1–3, 5 and 7) including the sealing ring and hardware, giving your AT0004 impact wrench a fresh, properly sealed impact housing ready for hard work.
A sound hammer case keeps the impact unit clean, lubricated and correctly supported. Replacing the housing and seal helps prevent dirt ingress and grease leakage, while restoring the structural integrity needed for consistent, efficient striking action.
